Next my Interview with Diana Alberts:). She is a very nice and friendly author:)

Thanks so much for inviting me here today to talk about Love Me, the second book in my Take a Chance series with Entangled Publishing!

  1. Why did you pick Las Vegas as the meeting place between the characters?

It just seemed the perfect backdrop for the type of books I wanted to write for these characters. The first book, Try Me, began with Jeremy stumbling around the desert drunk off his ass and lost. I mean, how many other places can a man wake up drunk, in a desert, and have no recollection as to why he got there?

It had to be Vegas, baby.

  1. Do you believe everyone has a story worth remembering?

Oh my God, yes! We all have one. Some might be more colorful than others, but we all have quite the colorful stories behind us. I don’t think I’d ever want *mine” told, but some might find it interesting. 😉

  1. What is the story that has touched and inspired you to write romance stories?

The first romance book I ever read was Highland Velvet by Jude Deveraux. I was twelve, and I couldn’t put it down. I can remember every detail of that day. Exactly where I was laying on my grandmother’s floor. The smell of dinner cooking as I opened the book, not knowing I would fall in love. And that day? I decided I wanted to be a romance author.

  1. How does that translate into your writing?

Hmm…I’m not sure! I like to think that my love of romance books shines through in everything I write, but I’m not sure if I succeed there. I was, first, a romance reader—and I’m still an avid romance reader. I love, breathe, and live in this genre.

I wouldn’t have it any other way!

  1. What is your favorite moment in the “Love Me” book?

I think I’ll have to go with the epilogue! With the Take a Chance books, I’ve gotten a lot of feedback from readers that LOVED the epilogue in Try Me, so I tried to keep that special ending going in all four of the books. In Love Me, I think I succeeded, because I’m already getting tons of tweets and emails about the end. Woot!

Thanks again for having me here today!

 My review

Love Me explores love, marriage, and relationships- and the power of the past to work upon them. Adding that is intelegent, mature, observant and ponders broad contemporary issues that impact on our daily lives will probably ensure that half its potential readers tune out immediately.

At first, I thought Thomas would be your stereotypical playboy hero  with smooth moves (as did Brianna), I feel like I should point out that they both fool me, the first will suprise me with his gold heart and the later will surprise me with her indepent character.

Thomas is a marketing executive who has come to Vegas hoping to land a big contract with the Golden Hand Casino. His company wants to branch into the Vegas market, but Thomas hates Vegas! Next ,  he meets Brianna, the business woman he from Golden Hand Casino. They literally bump into each other at their first meeting and things start to simmer!

I love Aberts’ writing style. It’s witty, quick and in times snappy as well :). This book is  a fast-paced romance between  two people who aren’t quite sure whether they are ready to move on from previous heartbreak, but can’t bring themselves to stop themselves in the process.

I will give this book 4 stars

My review of belonging by karen anne hopkins

Rose became Amish so she could be with Noah, but is this where she really belongs?
‘I left everything I knew behind. but it was worth it. He was worth it’.
No one thought an ordinary girl like me would last two minutes living with the Amish, not even me. There are a lot more rules and a lot less freedom, and I miss my family and the life I once had. Worst of all, Noah and I aren’t even allowed to see each other. Not until I’ve proven myself.
If I can find a way
to make it work, we’ll be Rose & Noah, together forever.
But not e
belongingverybody believes this is where I belong’.

Belonging showed more of a balance to this intense and all-consuming love story. It explores first love , relationship, amish – and the power of love and sacrifice to work upon them.

reading Rose’s transition over to living in the Amish community. I can;t help but Imagining how to lead a  medieval life in the middle of this modern world.   We won’t be  able to use cell phones, internet, laptop or even use appliances to enjoy life such as  watching television.  Rose life is getting upside down. She makes huge sacrifices for Noah. Question is can Noah does the same thing for her?

Rose and Noah bonds will be tested, and difficult questions will be answered. With only love keeping Rose and Noah afloat, will it ever really be enough to keep them together?

Rose’s new friend noted that ‘love is about giving up your life but not your soul’. This is something Rose is still struggling with. She seems to be imbalanced with her love toward Noah. She gave up not only her life but also her soul.  As a reader, I was overcomed by Rose’s compassion and It’s good to see how life’s and love is a whole mess on its own accord.

I will give this book 5 sparkling star because the snippets of the story and the nuances of a character , namely Rose hang around for a while after I’ve finished the last page and this was certainly the case with this book
